Builder terms
Projet. Ce texte n’a pas encore été relu par un avocat.
Ces conditions sont pour l’instant disponibles en anglais uniquement.
Who we are
Aphelore is run by the Aphelore team (contact: support@aphelore.com). These terms apply when you apply to, or work through, Aphelore. You act as an independent business, not as an employee or agent of Aphelore.
Verification
To appear to clients you must pass the checks on our standard page. A person makes each decision. You will be told the outcome. We can pause a builder when quality, conduct or these terms give us a reason, and we will tell you why.
How proposals work
For each request, filters select builders using facts you have declared: tools, languages, project sizes and availability. Those who fit are offered in turn, with the builder proposed longest ago first. No score, payment or AI affects the order. A person approves each shortlist and may add or remove builders, and any such choice is recorded. You can see why you were proposed. We cannot promise any amount of work.
Your contract with the client
When a client accepts your scope, your contract for the work is with that client. You are responsible for the work, for your taxes, and for invoicing the client.
Fees and payouts
We keep 15% of each milestone, which covers Stripe's fees. You receive payouts through your own Stripe account. A payout is released 14 days after the client accepts, unless a problem is raised. If the client does not reply within 7 days of delivery, the work counts as accepted.
Refunds and disputes
If a client raises a problem, a person reviews what both sides provide and decides how the held payment is handled. A refund can reverse money already moved to your Stripe balance. You can ask for a decision to be reviewed through the complaints route below.
Handover standard
You must work in accounts owned by the client, and before each delivery you must confirm every handover item. You must honour the 60-day warranty.
Working through the platform
You agree to run paid work for a client you met through Aphelore through Aphelore for 12 months after your last project with them or, if you have no project, after you were introduced.
Translated messages
Project messages can be translated automatically so that people can work in different languages. A translation can contain mistakes. The original message is the one that counts, so check important details such as amounts and dates in the original.
Tax reporting
EU law requires platforms to collect and report certain details about sellers (DAC7). You agree to provide accurate details, and we may share them with tax authorities as the law requires.
Complaints
You can send a complaint about a decision to support@aphelore.com. A person will reply with reasons. If this does not resolve it, the parties may try mediation [mediators to be named].
Ending
You can leave at any time once your open projects and warranties are finished. We will give at least 30 days' notice before ending your access, except where the law allows immediate suspension.
Governing law
[Governing law and courts to be confirmed by a lawyer.]
