Every builder is checked by a person.

No software decides who joins. Reviewers look at real work, talk to the builder and mark each check against a written rubric. A builder only appears to clients after a person marks them verified.

The checks

  1. Eligibility

A real independent business, somewhere we can pay them, with relevant experience.

  2. Live work

A screen share of a system running in production, plus a redacted contract or invoice.

  3. Technical interview

A reviewer asks how the system was built, how it fails and how keys and data are protected.

  4. Practical test

A 90-minute task on made-up orders, then a live change. Unclear orders must go to a person.

  5. Client simulation

A short mock first meeting, then a one-page scope in plain words.

  6. References

Two calls with past clients, reached through their own company contacts.

  7. Final decision

A person reviews everything and decides.

After verification

A second reviewer checks the handover on each builder's first project. We can pause a builder if the quality drops, and any past work they change is checked again before it goes back on their profile.

How proposals are chosen

Filters use facts each builder has declared: tools, languages, project sizes and availability. Those who fit are offered in turn, with the builder proposed longest ago first. Proposals use no scores and no AI ranking. A person approves each shortlist.
